These ephemeral HP masks – made from recycled plastic bottles – from cardboard boxes and fabric -mixed with traditional materials such as feathers or hair – still retain their character – but they are the sign of the times –

It’s a bibliographical curiosity, the presence in one of the first and authoritative texts dedicated to the traditional African arts, of an artifact, an Indian lute with a peacock on the top.
